The bedroom and living area were separate rooms. A full kitchen with everything I required to prepare a meal was provided, including van service, within 5 miles by the lovely Alba, to purchase what I needed. Our suite was clean, quiet, spacious and was equipped with all the amenities that should allow for a comfortable stay. It is the little extras that make this hotel special. Homewood Suites seems to empower their employees to go above and beyond to make decisions to meet the client's varied needs. Jeanette was friendly and went out of her way to insure we had a positive experience. She exemplified an example of great customer service She checked us in. Jeanette, is the first thing that comes to mind. Free ample parking is something we appreciate and it is in this hotel. The property is conveniently located to restaurants and shops. I did however, notice a strong smell of air freshener in the halls.Ī few more extras: outdoor basket ball area, outdoor grills for BBQ with a nice sitting area photographs of local scenery, 24 hour coffee, tea Both amenities are important to me because appreciate fresh air because of folks cooking in their kitchens this avoids lingering odors as others have reported. The windows opened and there is a ceiling fan. I was about to book two nights for my kids in the coming weeks but i will be exploring other options.Jeanette, is the first thing that comes to mind. Prior to coming over to Hilton i would stay a Marriot Hotels but a friend of mine rold me to try Hilton and i did and have been very satisfied up until this my last experience. That call didn't come i called back two days in a row after being prompted for this survey and still no one has reached out to me. When checking out i decided to voice my issues and was reliably told that the manager would call me the next day to make things right. What is even more strange is that there was a do not disturb sign on the door and the lady came in without knocking. At about 11:15am someone barged into the room to clean it. I had also asked for a later check out prior to arrival at the hotel. I decided to buy a movie on Amazon but then the wifi was horrible so i called the front desk and the gentleman upgraded the room settings so i could see the movie without buffering. The television reception was horrible and would hang for minutes at a time. On getting into the room i discovered that The sheets were not clean and there was a welcome card placed on the pillow that had what appeared to be food smears beneath it. I decided to go with what they had because i had just been driving for hours. Upon arrival an hour after sheduled check in time I was told that my regular preference for a room was not ready and it wpuld be quite a wait. This was actually my third stay at the property and it seems they have fallen far from grace. Firstly I've been a member of Hhounrs for many years and this is by far the worst experience I've had.
